Classroom Pre-Activities
Have students review the appropriate links and attachments prior to their visit.
** To request a classroom set of periodic tables, email your request to BLEV@LBL.GOV, and provide your name, school/group name and mailing address.
Field Trip Checklist
- Check for proper footwear (closed-toe shoes) and clothing (legs must be covered).
- Be sure that all adults in your group have a photo ID.
- If your group has drivers, make sure they have directions to Berkeley Lab.
- Make sure all necessary paperwork is turned into principal/district (e.g., permission slips, etc.)
- Make sure your group has at least one adult for each eight students.
- Make sure students know the date and time of the trip and pickup and drop off locations.
- Acquire a substitute teacher, if applicable.
